5-string 7/8, anno 2007 VB605, Eastman Strings
This is a beautiful and very playable 7/8 5-string with sloped shoulders for ease of playing. I did not know the string length was 43" until I measured it. Quite a surprise as it is so easy to get around. Truly made for sound of which it has a lot of. Deep and rich powerful projecting tone. I worked beside this bass when it was new in 2007 so when the owner retired and offered it to me, I was quite happy to see it again. This bass can also be set-up to be played as a 4-string as well as a 5-string as needed.
