I never found any problems in wood thickness on these basses in the past. The graduation drawing they gave me a few years ago looked just fine by the numbers. I think it may be more advertising than actual Luthiere. Playing two of the same models side by side, old and new would be the only real way to tell. Even with that, 6 of each bass would be a better way to judge a model. I have bought and sold quite a few carved Corsini and Panormo models from JR buying from 3 to 6 at a time. No two of the same models ever sounded the same. Wood is wood!

I will give Rich a call one of these days to catch up on things and find out if these is any more information that is worth mentioning.
