I'd be interested to hear how they "develop" -- I thought about these strings to replace the Corellis that came on my bass (settled on EP weichs, and am waiting on delivery). I'm sure it's unjustified, but I can't get past thinking of D'Addario as cheap (as opposed to merely inexpensive). The Zyex strings get mixed reviews, although I've never seen one as mixed as yours!
