I have details but not exact measurements. I told you this on the phone I believe or in an Email. They probably started out at about .250", maybe thicker. In the making, they get sanded as well and there is some variation. Unless you take the nut off to measure the center of the board, you can only get an approximate thickness. This is also a Japanese Polyester finish. Taking a FB off will break that edge and will need re-finishing after the new board is on and all sanded. That is a lot of money for a bass that was altered before buying it. Burners made from about late 1992 or '93 have a Morado fingerboard that was supplied buy us. We re-sawed the lumber from 1" stock and shipped over FB blanks for 4, 5 and 6 string basses. This started because they did not have FB wood wide enough for the 6s so we just supplied all the boards from then on till about 1998. Before that, the 4s and 5s were Indian rosewood.
