When I say "D neck" I mean something slightly longer than a modern D neck. With the thumb at the heel opposite to the second finger, the first finger plays D.
It seem to be an Eb neck, but here people use the 1-3-4 fingering at the lower positions, so I can't say.
Of course, any suggestion is welcome.
That is the TRUE D neck played with the second finger at the Heel and the first finger on the D with PROPER left hand positioning.. THANK YOU... Really..

Nice work and beautiful model. Looks very similar to the model made famous by his son Gaetano. It's great to see and original by his father.
