Silk on Low B extends over nut
Hi all,
I've been using Slick Rounds on my Quantum 5 for almost two years and I love them. But the last three times I've changed strings I can't seem to avoid the purple silk on the Low B extending into the first fret. Is there anything I can do to avoid this? It's not a huge problem, but I think it make some difference in tone for that low C which I do hit now and then. Thanks! Chad |

You can just call and order the right one. |

Thanks, Ken. The distance from ball to nut clearance is 37 inches. Which one should I order?

You need the longer string that's 37.5"-38", ball to silk. If you bought the regular 36.5" length in the past, then this would be the reason for the problem.
