K cut away?

When I moved to Europe I decided to buy a bass from musikhause thomann. It is definitely made in the style of a K cut away but has no sticker and was at least assembled, if not mad entirely, by Thomann. Is this normal or abnormal? and why would they not put a sticker or stamp in the contrabass?
