What is this bass?

I am considering buying this bass but would like some info. The label says "Ubert Hofner Made in Germany.

I wrote to Hofner and they said they never used this name and do not know what it is. Attaching some pix.
My dealer says it's made by another Hofner company in Germany.
I am a beginner and could use all the help I can get.
