For those who sometimes take a look into the "For sale" threads: I've got this beauty from G.M. - another forum user - and restored it to the original fretless neck at Bassline here in Germany. After years and years of looking for such a rare animal here in Europe I am totally happy to own this. It is pure fun to play. Thanks to G.M. again ...
Up to now I had some concerns whether my favourite fretted bass model (another BMT 5) would perform as a fretless as well. Issue closed: It is a fantastic fretless  even with the dense woods in the neck, which supports more attack instead of mwah imho...  BMTmania.........
