Yesterday we rehearsed it with me using an Amp playing 2-3x the volume of the other 3 Basses but the Drums, they got softer and decided to LISTEN to where the beat actually IS.

Now if we can only get the brass to follow as well ...

It is a very strange thing to try to play in time with set drums located clear on the other side of the orchestra.
