Reinhold Herold Bass

Is anyone familiar with this maker or his Basses ?
The only thing I can find on him is from the Contrabass Shoppe website in the "Quality Basses " section.
Apparently he made Basses in Germany circa 1840 or so.

Any information would be appreciated.
