I like the C on the A-string as well. For shaking things up, I like the low C#/Db on the C-extension. It doesn't have too many friendly harmonics so it just shakes the entire bass. I use it to warm the wood up before I play sometimes. Try it an octave higher as well on the A string if you don't have an extension. I've always like that Db feel in my gut when I play it.

Play that Db loud enough and it will scare that Wolf away.
