The bass I saw was not a Pillement, no way, no how. But thanks for the info.

Ok, so show the NOT Pillement Bass so my effort was not a total waste. What was it? How old was it to your eye or the age they quoted? Was it even French?

Unfortunately, there are no photos of the bass. It did look French to my untrained eye. It was nice but needed extensive repairs.

I'm not trying to waste anyone's time or efforts... I thought there may be others interested in this particular maker and possibly find someone who owns a Pillement. Perhaps someone may show up with more info. Thanks for the photos, they were helpful.
