Thumbs up Over for the Phill's...

Phill's had their opportunities, but couldn't get it done. Giants prevail in Game 6 by a score of 3-2. It will be a Rangers and Giants World Series: A series of the underdogs and who would've thought, as recent as a couple weeks ago, it would've turned out this way. Should be a good one.

Thumbs up Congrats to SF....

Congratulations to San Fran: Giants showed up; Rangers didn't.

Talking Happy Thanksgiving!

TURKEY RECIPE

I thought this sounded good! Here is a turkey recipe that also includes the use of popcorn as a stuffing ingredient -- imagine that When I found this recipe, I thought it was perfect for people like me, who just are not sure how to tell when turkey is thoroughly cooked, but not dried out. Give this a try.

8 - 15 lb. turkey
1 cup melted butter
1 cup stuffing (Pepperidge Farm is Good)
1 cup un-popped popcorn (ORVILLE REDENBACHER'S LOW FAT IS BEST)
Salt/pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush turkey well with melted butter, salt, and pepper.

Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn. Place in baking pan making sure the neck end is toward the front of the oven, not the back.

After about 4 hours listen for the popping sounds.

When the turkey's ass blows the oven door open and the bird flies across the room.... it's done.

And you thought I didn't cook...

What happened to Tim Bishop?
If you go into the Members' list, his 'last visit' is listed as 'N/A'.
There are a few of these in the Members' list. Does anyone know what this means?
He seemed to be an ardent KSB fan (judging by his posts and his public profile), so why would he choose to leave?
Strange?

Really? I don't see that unless he did something with his options.

Ah dinnae ken. So how does one achieve the N/A option for his 'last visit' option on the members' list?
I see there is a thing called 'invisible mode'.

I'm not seeing 'N/A' and as of this morning, the last time I checked, I still have a pulse. I'm even about to make a fresh cup of coffee.
