![]() Very nice Roy!
I recently traded my 5EG for this KSA-5 20th Anniversary in Flamed Redwood. I'm very pleased with it! It's not to heavy, balance is perfect. It has some playwear but it sounds and plays like a dream (what did you expect?... it's a Smith :-) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

![]() Wow! Congrats Dirk
![]() Love that redwood top. I'm curious to know how many of the 20th Anniversary basses were built and also the year it was offered? Mr. Smith, could you do the honors in chiming in with an answer. |

![]() Did you have a special reason to choose Redwood for these anniversary basses, Ken? I don't think this wood is very common and was not used much beside this model...

![]() I had it this very old Redwood that I had recently purchased just laying around with no special place to use it. I also had a bunch of old tiger maple cut up for core sets, about 45-50 sets worth just stacked in the shelf so I glued them up together for this model and it was very well received.

![]() Indeed Jens! It is very eye catching and everything else you can expect from a Smith! Maybe even more :-) (The EVH was nothing for me! and it made me very clear dat a Smith is my thing!) Stil fancy your Ritter though :-)
