Default Worn Out Smith

I can appreciate all you guys with AAAAA condition Smiths but this is a place for showing off your most worn out, road weary, workers. Mine is a 1987 BT5 with 210,000 miles on it. I gig regularly, do session work and music ministry service. This could be fun.

Thumbs up It's the BEST!

This is the best bass I have ever owned.........It sounds great, it feels great, it plays great. Thumbs up to Mr. Smith! This bass has made me a better player..... It feels like a beautiful woman in my arms... (I half-jokingly say that Music is the only woman that has never let me down.)

(I'd like to invite anyone to post photos of their well-played Smith here.)

My bass is not quite as old as yours, but it has seen many, many gigs, and has been across Canada a few times. My metal band Divinity just signed a world wide deal and will be seen and heard all over the world. Especially when our video comes out.

Glad to see I'm not the only bassist that throws down some metal on a Smith!

I'd post a pic of my Smith, as I've been punishing it for almost 7 years now, but it in no way looks worn..

Hey Bob, what about that collision you had with your guitar player awhile back? Is everthing ok with the bass? If I remember, I think you said everything was fine?

Ya it's ok.. There is a minor indention in the finish on the headstock, but you really have to be looking for it to notice it.. It's nothing when you consider the force with which he hit it.
