I'm not a bassist-- don't even know how to hold the thing--but I like lutherie, and this is my first bass. Some of you have seen this over in the other forum. I later replaced the ebony with curly maple, because I needed more length, and by that time had been advised that the little white felt thingys went UNDER the tailpiece. :-)
