Default Ken Smith Players Should Play Other Basses

i believe those of us who have played Smith basses for a while take for granted how great they sound. I was out playing my mom's old 1980-something P-Bass and I'm thinking to myself, "this sounds pretty good I ought to play it more often." I come home and pick up my Smith and I'm blown away thinking, "This sounds GREAT, no wonder why I play it all the time!!!"

I believe our ears get so used to the great Smith sound that it becomes regular or "comon" to us. By playing another brand of bass every so often it will break the pattern and we'll appreciate our Smiths even more when we come back to them. What do you think?
