The French and English models from the outside look similar but not the Varnish. In the case or Tarr and Cole it's tough to say where it was made without this exam method. I played a Tarr a few days ago. Upclose it looked German but looking from 10 feet away it looked English. The Varnish was the best part of the bass and was nothing I have seen from the German school. I honestly do not know what that Bass is for sure. Going by pattern alone can be a careless mistake in the long run. Anyone can cut a shape out! |
