Lightbulb RIP Wayman..

I heard just a few minutes ago on the radio, news about the passing of Wayman Tisdale.

I met him several years ago at a NAMM show, had dinner with him along with a few other notables (was our 15th anniversary with Freddy Washington, Marcus Miller and Al Turner at the table at the Ivy in LA).

He was a great musician and retired pro basketball player from the 'Suns and a true Gentleman. We will miss him..

Default Great Lost!!

I am really sad to hear the passing of my friend Wayman. We have sat and played many songs together and he taught me many solo licks on bass. We both are lefty and string the bass righty. Even though he played a Tobias on stage, he loved the tone and workmanship of my 90 BT6. Will miss that great smile he had and his kindness.

Mike
