Default Corelli Forte

I use Corelli Forte Strings for my mighty funf (Low B) for both pizz and arco.
I have tried Olives and my B string broke above the nut after about 2 weeks.
Yes I did open up the nut slot and applied plenty of lube.
The corelli's just seem to provide the right amount of tension on my bass.
I think each bass is unique. So finding the right string combination for each bass is not easy.
I will try a lighter gut set in the future with a high C because they where so easy to bow.
Has anyone ever used the LaBella black nylon tape wound strings?
I heard that they are not any good for arco.
Just Askin.

I've tried them, and no, they were not very good arco strings in my opinion.
