![]() Here's the Bandini bass, made in 1980 by Mario Bandini in Revenna Italy who has one medals for his double bass work. All of his basses I have seen are nick-named as well on the label. This one is nick-named ~SIGFRIDO~. The Top is high quality fine grained Spruce. The Back and Sides/Ribs are made from highly figured Lombardi region Poplar. The Neck/Scroll is original and made of figured Maple.
String Length; 41 1/4" Top/Back Length; 44 1/2" top, 44 1/2" back Upper Bout; 19 3/4" Middle Bout; 15" Lower Bout; 25 5/8" Ribs; from 8 3/4" at the block tapering to 6 7/8" at neck |
