Question Roland GK-3B midi pickup on a Ken Smith

Anyone knows if would fit on a Smith bass - is there enough space between the bridge and pickup, and enough room for the rest of the unit to be attached?
Thanks.

OK, I'm not giving up.
I've noticed the pickup position on wide (19mm) models is difference than your standard bass. There's more space between the bridge and b/pickup. A midi pickup would fit easily.
Is this only reserved for the wide version or also available on a standard 18mm bass?

A 19mm Ken Smith:

Exclamation

We can move them but the poles might not line up as well.

I understand. Good to know it is an option though. Thanks!

Maybe, but the Poles for the wide model were made for the position they are in.

So, in theory, to "modify" a 18mm bass (pickup placement) you'll need a tighter pole-spacing pickups - to keep everything aligned correctly.

We have what we have. I have to measure a bass and see how much room we have to keep it within the poles.

Default GK Pickup

For Regular 18mm string spacing. If you move bridge, it is possible to put. No need to do it for 19mm.

Move the bridge? No way
But I understand that with the 19mm model this is not an issue.
