Default String ID

I played on some strings yesterday that had orange with black spiral at the ball ends, and a different pastel color for each string at the peg end. Anyone know what these might be?

Can you post a picture? What bass was this on?

Was it like the strings on this bass;

Just a bass I was checking out, didn't take a picture. I can't see the wraps in your pic, Ken.

Those are red and black as I recall and can see when I blow the pic up. Chinese strings. Either way, strings on one bass rarely work the same on another bass. Don't loose sleep over it.
