[Will Yager]

My name is Will Yager and I'm a senior at Maryville College in east TN studying music. I've lurked for a while but decided to go ahead and join up. I started off as a jazzer only, but my continued study of the instrument has led to my love of solo/orchestral playing as well. I started on slab as a freshman in high school and it wasn't long before I was bitten by the jazz bug. After I became a huge jazz nerd and started getting records, I obtained the Bill Evans Vanguard sessions and hearing Lafaro made me want to throw my ebass in a river. I started saving up and finally got a Calin Wultur Corsini just a few months before I graduated. I've been playing DB primarily ever since . I'm definitely going to continue my study at the graduate level after I graduate from college.
