Arrow Sue Lipkins, Vigneron Ellipitical model

Here we have a new acquisition, a beautiful Sue Lipkins, Vigneron Ellipitical model and Silver fittings. (POA)

Bow Weight; 146 grams

Length of stick without Screw; 26 3/8" (27 1/4" w/Screw)

Playing length of Hair; 21"

This is a professional grade Orchestra bow, from 2006 and is well played in.

I have only read about these elliptical bows, but never played one...

How does it compare, in terms of feel, to your "homage to Sartory" Lipkins bow?

This one is slightly heavier and it's a strong stick. I don't know how MY bow would be if it were different. Sue did play it before rounding the stick and I heard it was great that way as well, just heavier. This other bow IS different than mine however. Also, it has a brown/black type of hair mix as well. That too changes the sound so I don't have a good test basis between the two.
