Cool My Tiger is here!!

My Black Tiger just arrived friday,Was done earlier than I thought, After just setting here looking at this thing of beauty,I just can not seem to put her down,Craftmanship of the Instrument is just totally outstanding.I own two other Smith Basses, All of these Basses have there own personality .Ken and his staff still amaze me with there quality of workmanship on all of there basses. Will post pics of the Black Tiger later....
I decided to post both of my basses on here for you to see!

I am loving those 4 strings! What is tonal difference between the Black Tiger and the one on the left? How about the weight of both? Also, do the recessed straplocks in the Black Tiger make the bass "hang" differently when standing?

Congrats, they are beautiful!

Darren

Default Black Tiger and BSR Morado!!

Thanks Darren!,I also love the fours,As for the sound,The 1998 Morado bass has 9volt elec. and the Black Tiger has the 18volt.The Black Tiger has the dip switch that let`s you set the tone you like,I myself like a lot of bottom because of the Blues that I play!.Both of the basses have a wonderful sound,As for balance they are perfect,The flush mount strap locks really don`t make any difference that I see,They both are great with balance and weight.Have been playing Ken`s basses for a long time now,Been thru many different basses over the years and and found my home with Smith Basses hands down the best on the market!!!!

Do you have a receipt & serial # for it so that I may do a little leg work? In What general vicinity are you? so I can figure out shipping, if I proceed with this. I am amazed nobody has offered you anything reasonable.

Offer??? Am I missing something? I'm not seeing an indication here from Paul that either of these basses are "for sale". Maybe he has it listed on another thread.

Ahh, thx for the clarification. You might want to go to that thread, and make another reply that it is still available; just as an update of status.
