Roberto Muzio, (Testore model) Milan 1993 (SOLD)
Here is a beautiful 3/4 Milanese Bass by Roberto Muzio, 1993 made on the traditional Testore model as confirmed recently by Muzio. I spoke with Mr. Muzio recently and he remembered this bass. It was played in Italy for a few years and then sold to a dealer in USA thru an Italian dealer. Then it was played professionally here for a few years before it was acquired by me thru a trade deal with another bass. Muzio has made at least 20 basses to date. This bass is made with traditional high grade Violin materials. Flamed maple Back, Ribs, Neck & Scroll with a fine grade spruce Top.
Measurements: String Length; 41 1/2" (105.4 cm) Top/Back Length; 42 7/8" top, 43 1/4" back Upper Bout; 19" Middle Bout; 13 1/4" Lower Bout; 25" Ribs; 8 3/8" at the tail block, tapering to 6 1/8" at neck (SOLD)
