PM Spam
I just received a spam PM from "Stephanie". I couldn't find anyway to notify the admin so . . .
Also, if I remember correctly, when we signed up for this forum our real names were required and now I see "Stephanie" has joined and there are a few others that I've noticed. Has this rule changed? Thanks, Fred |

The funny thing is she seems to be preaching pretty desperately to the choir. Who would be compelled to either aggressively market or argue against Buddhism?
Sort of like mounting a major campaign to mandate breathing. Perhaps the most curious spam I have gotten yet. |

Buddhist spam
This message isn't just restricted to this forum. I've already had the same one through the Volvo Owner's Club forum in the UK (which uses the same system as this). "Stephanie's" location was given as Scotland, so I figured it was legit. Anyway, the website in the PM is pretty good. Glad no-one has taken offence. I must admit, I did think for a minute that I had a crazy online stalker

I just noticed that she's currently on and searching member profiles.

Who can argue with Albert Einstein?
Whatever. Watch out for Buddhist viruses and don't click the link. Last edited by Sam Sherry; 02-04-2008 at 08:40 AM. Reason: Don't put on airs, Sam! |
