Default xbasstv.com on line

There is a new bass site on line (see note below from the 2xbasslist). One of the concerts listed shows Edicson Ruiz playing the Koussevitzky DB Concerto. He is using a cornerless bass.

http://xbass.tv

Dear List,
if I'm not wrong this is the correct link to the "first television related or dedicatet to doublebass".
It's an Italian invention. Now it's at the beginning of his history, but it's possible to see interviews or concertos about classical and jazz doublebass.
Well, it's a "longa manus" of http://xbass.org (check if you need " www " ). In fact, you can decide, if you like, or to look at xbass.tv directly or passing through http://xbass.org. In thi case, there's a toll called "XBASS TV" and you will be ready to see these sort of Television. No payment!
I think it's the first TV about the doublebass in the world and this has been possible thanks to maestro ALBERTO BOCINI (solist and member of the famous quartett The Bass Gang ) and RICCARDO VALSECCHI, doublebass player but also a "Magic Johnson" of computers.

Let me know if you like the idea. Also suggestments will be taken in consideration. Language: Italian and English.

Best Regards

Vito Liuzzi (Italy)

It's a nice Bass. Italian of course and most likely 19th century by its condition and style. Just a guess.

Nice jacket, too. Florentine, i'd say.

I take it Edicson Ruiz isn't very tall? That bass towers over him, though he plays it beautifully. The FFs are odd, they almost seem to slant inwards towards the lower bout. ref 7:47 to see what I mean.
