Am I the only one in the world who uses these strings? They were recommended to me by a more experienced section-mate when I said I liked the power and longevity of steel strings but thought Spirocores were too harsh.
I've had them on my old German shop bass for at least 6 months and am pretty satisfied, but I have never seen another bass with these strings, either on stage or in a shop. What's the deal? Are they just out of fashion?
