Hello!
I'm Joe, and I'm currently studying lutherie and, of course, bass.

Last October, I was given a double bass by my art teacher. Then a guy in America gave me all the pieces I needed to get it playable. Then another guy in America sent me a set of animas. So it begun...

I'm being taught by Terry Pack, and I played bass guitar before so i've made reasonablly quick progress on the bass. I've just started learning to bow (though I still need to get my own) and I love it. Everything about bass makes me smile, maybe I'll be making basses in 5 years time?

Just wanted to say hi. I look forward to learning from you guys and sharing any knowledge I can.
