Hello from Waterloo

...and actually a number of places around Ontario, Canada. My home is Niagara Falls, I go to school in Waterloo, I bought my bass in Ottawa, and I've studied with teachers in Toronto.

Location aside, I'm a young and relatively fresh bassist. I started playing electric about 6 years ago, and in '05 decided to pick up the DB to play Classical music. A couple years later, and I've just won principal of my school's orchestra, a position which I'm not sure I've earned but I'm proud to hold. I'm not a music major (our dept. is very small actually) but rather a Chemical/Bioengineering student who likes to play the bass.

When not shedding on DB, I enjoy playing jazz and many other varieties of music on electric. I'm glad to be here with so many of you who can share experience on basses, strings, setup and everything else. I look forward to learning a lot!
