Thumbs up Memorial Day USA

Just a note remembering and thanking those that served America, many making the ultimate sacrifice. Thanks to you and your families.

...and, of course, the 'collateral damage' on the other side. Oren, my friend, I don't mean to be disrespectful but, both sides die in a war. Ordinary people die in someone's power struggle. We don't need wars; and they are never justified.

Richard, you're not being disrespectful, you're using one of those basic freedoms that every country should have - freedom of speech. One of many "freedoms" that, and I can't speak for other countries, American soldiers have fought for, along with a long list of other basic freedoms. You are correct that ordinary people die, but I would add that extraordinary people die as well. Those power struggles are often for more than just power. Complete dominance to the extreme is often the case. I agree that we don't need wars, but they are a sad reality of the human race. My friend Richard, it's my opinion that they will continue until Judgement Day. Now, go to bed and get a good nights sleep, or not.

What's Judgement Day? Is it another American holiday?
Thanks, I got a very good night's sleep - I had to go to the doc yesterday to get something checked out that I'd been worried about for quite some time... turns out that it's just a little hernia. My wife always says,
"Don't sweat the small stuff."
I'll listen to her next time ,and go to the doc earlier!

Judgement Day is when we'll be (quoting Martin Luther King, Jr.) "Free at last, free at last, God Almighty, free at last."

Glad your hernia is a little one and nothing else. You see Richard, if you'd get you one of those "fridge" cabs (Ampeg SVT 8-10, Acoustic 370 1-18,) at least I might could hear you and you'd have a worthwhile reason for your hernia.

By The Way - Today (Wednesday afternoon, May 27th) is the first time that this thread has shown up on the home screen since I started it???

When this guy said,
"God Almighty!" was he, by any chance, doing some home maintenance?
I dropped my hammer on my foot, last weekend, and said the same thing.
