Default Brace of BTs

Hi, bought a couple of BTs last year - see photos.

The concentric tone controls on the BT5 are sticky. Turning the treble turns the bass too.

Is there a way to fix this ?

Finally, could you tell me which exact model are the BTs, e.g. elite, etc

Thanks
