Default Bt 6

Hi from Finland
I just bought my old Smith BT 6 from 1990 back and been sooooo happy now. Its got a gorgeous macassar ebony top. My question is what kind of finish it have? Is it oiled/waxed or laqcuered? And what can I do to make it even better looking? Serial # is :82590.

Some type of lacquer I believe. Just keep it clean. It was not a high gloss when new either.
