Default spruce beam

I picked up this old pine beam that came from an old building / approx 100 yrs plus . It is a decent chunk of unknotted wood, probably 'Scandinavian' in origin according to what was commonly used here during that period.
My guess is perhaps cut it up for bass bars or strips for re-edging ....

Any ideas on what to do with it would be great .

It measures 1 meter at its longest and is 9'' x 6'' all round .
