Default Should i buy this bass?

Can anyone provide me with information about this double bass? They sell it for 3900 euros. Includes the case, the adjustable bridge and the pickup. Is it a good price?

I have tried this Russian double bass from the 60 years (it is a 3/4) and I want to know your opinions. It has a round and deep sound. It's tuned for jazz, which is what I'm looking for, and it's very comfortable to play. The top and back are made of spruce and the sides are made of maple. I have good feeling an sensations with it. It is in good shape.

Exclamation ??

I had an American bass once with a Pine back but was flat and thick. Price is low for a bass but at that price, if the back explodes, a new flat back of maple or plywood can be made.

Thanks, Ken! So you think it could be a good buy? I'm happy with him. The bottom is made of spruce, not pine, like the one you told me about.

Pine and Spruce are just different varieties or Fir trees.. The back is not a hard wood like maple, poplar, willow or walnut so it is more prone to splitting.

It is a risk.. For me, I would never buy it.
