Default Series / Parallel Switches

Hello,

I have a Ken Smith BSR EG 6 string (cocobolo top) 2012 model which I purchased from someone who had not used the bass for a couple of years.
The series - parallel switches are very stiff/hard to move up and down. The switches do move but not smoothly. Was this caused due to the bass not getting any use? Anything I can do to fix the problem?

Thanks so much,
Alfonso

Not sure but stiff is good. Loose is warn. I would leave it alone and see if it gets better as you use it.

Thank you very much for your reply. Exactly what I wanted to hear and will not worry about it.
