Default Smiths flat tops for 12" radius

Hi there!
Im very much in love with the Smith sound. I own 3 other vrand hand made basses and I think Im changing the pups with the Smith flats tops cause th string spacing didnt match.
The fingerboard radius is 12 ". Has any one ever done it? Odes it work well?
Ken can you help?
Thank you verymuch
Robert

That's a tight radius. The Pickups have a much shallower radius than that. I don't know if it will work. Also, who is to say if they will work with your Bass tonally. Does it vibrate and put out a similar acoustic sound like a Smith?

It's all about matching. I usually tell people that if you want a Smith sound, save your money on the parts and just get a Smith Bass. For one, no matter how much you spend it wont be or sound like a Smith and second, you wont get you money out of the Mods doing up 'brand x' when selling it.
