ISB Show - 2015 Colorado

To all bass lovers attending the ISB show this year or considering to go at this time, we WILL be displaying several Double Basses there. These include;

Pietro Antonio Malvolti, Florence 1727 (just restored) .. SOLD ..

Georges Mougenot, Bruxelles-Liege 1875 (fully restored) .. SOLD ..

William Tarr, Manchester 1829, #8 (aka Halle Tarr, pre-Halle)

Mario Bandini, Ravenna 1980 (fully restored) .. SOLD ..

Jeff Bollbach, NY 2003 (Pallotta Lion) .. SOLD ..

Wilhelm Ubel, Markneukirchen c. 1880 (fully restored) .. SOLD ..

EM Pollmann, Bavaria 1970 (3/4 Busetto, near mint) .. SOLD ..

Also packed in the Van today was..

Josef Kreutzer, Bruno 1953 (with C-Ext) .. SOLD ..

Pollmann (G.K.), Bavaria 1980 (full size with C-ext) .. SOLD ..

Viennese/Prague Bass, C.1850 (in restoration)

10 basses in total on the way out to the ISB.

Getting excited to get there tomorrow to see all your basses, Ken. Did you send any bows, this time?

It seems that Matthew Tucker just won a Silver Medal for Tone with his new bass...

Great for Matt. No bows there for sale but Chris Brown is there in the same room. He has bows.

Lightbulb Leon Bosch and Buster Williams

Leon used the Bollbach for his recital and also tried out the fabulous Malvolti. Buster was digging the Tarr and almost used it for his concert but already had a bass lined up beforehand.
