Default "Jargar" Strings?

Hi all, just had dinner with a great local bassist and he told me he uses a Dutch string called "Jargar". I'd never heard of these before, are these a classical steel string?

For Ken: I was just curious, I'm really happy with my set of Flat-Chromesteels.

Go to TalkBass and do a search there. We had a few discussions about them. Yes, they are bowing strings. Good luck finding them as there are production limitations from that company and the stock here in the USA is sparse.

I used the medium gauge over 30 years ago briefly on one bass and just a few years ago tried the heavy gauge on my Dodd which I liked. Now there is a set of them on the Bollbach Lion bass and they sound fine as well. Hard to describe them.
