Default Otto Rubner 1959

Hi, I just got an Otto Rubner bass from 1959. It sounds great and I would like to know if anyone would be able to tell me more about the instrument based on the pictures. I read previous threads about the Rubner family, fascinating. Many thanks, Jean

Ok, so not sure it's made by Otto Rubner like his earlier basses or the GEWA Factory that later used his name and brand stamp. The bass-bar crack is a huge problem on new basses for value and needs an expensive repair to be done right.
