Default So, what is your favourite note on the double bass and why?

G.
Because everything in my house seems to be tuned to G.

Which brings us to an interesting point:
If I asked you what was the last letter in the alphabet, you'd probably answer "Z"... and who could argue with that?
What if I asked you what was the last letter in your sentence?
The "e" in 'favourite'?
I'm going to step out on a limb here and suggest that the little blue guy ( ) could be interpreted as a letter.
Maybe the last note you play on your bass is a crotchet rest?
('quarter note rest' in yankee tongue)
Okay, I hear you saying,
"WTH (What the hell)! The little guy is a face and not a letter!"
To that I have no answer. I'll think about it.
