Default mid knob

Hey all and Happy New Year,

This question is for Ken and anyone else who may have the answer.
The center detent on my mid circuit knob has softened to the point where I can barely feel it. Is this an easy fix by a local talented luthier? Return to the builder? Help!!
The bass is a BSR 5 MW built in 2000. I'm the second owner and I've had her since 2001.

Thanks for any assistance, KIrk

Who's the builder?.. lol

Just call me and order a new mid board. Changing the Pot IS possible but not at all easy to do and be like new unless done at our lab. Easiest fix is to plug in a new board/pot. Be careful taking the knob off.
