Default Getting close to 30 years

Me and my BT 5 that I bought new in 1989. Coming up to our 30th anniversary together. Best instrument I have ever owned.

Cool

Great. Beautiful bass. So happy to see the older Smith Basses and how well that have held up over the years.

I am just finishing up a set-up and some TLC on #1985, a set-neck Smith Bass, one of the last made in NY at the Brooklyn shop (#186 of just less than 200 made before #201, the first Smith Bass made here in Pennsylvania in 1985). It plays just as good or better than it did on day one!
