Here are some pics and measurements of the Remenyi composite bass.

Having just come in from Europe with just some minimal set-up, this bass will now go into the shop for its KS/USA style set-up like all the other double basses in the racks in our showroom. The work will include fingerboard dressing or replacement, new bridge with adjusters, new tailwire with adjustable clamp and new endpin at the least. When it returns to the showroom, it will be ready for professional use.

The Top and Back are original but modified from a larger gamba model to an Italian Violin cornered bass. This was copied from an old Italian bass that was also re-built by this same restorer a few years ago. The Ribs are new and the Pegbox and Scroll are from two other older Italian basses.
