Ken I have this German bass as a backup/gigs around town. What do you know about this factory basses?

I looks like most any other Shop bass of its period. Looking at the Goetz website awhile back it looked as if they are only suppliers and not makers of anything. I don't know if that has always been the case but I don't see this as being anything individual looking as compared to other shop Germanic style basses.

Default Goetz or Gotz?

Thanks Ken. Are they called Goetz or Gotz? I can't tell by looking on that signature on the back.

Gotz with the oomlaut. (Two dots over the o) Goetz in English.
