Default This Little Bass...

I recently was given this little bass as a present and I am interested in your opinions on it. I plan on making use of it as a travel bass as it's small and easy to manage. It's all solid wood from what I can tell and has a flat back. The label on the inside suggests it was made in Mittenwald in 1951. I have included some pictures.

The measurements are:

LOB - 35.6in
Width across upper bouts - 17.8in
Width across middle bouts - 13in
Width across lower bouts - 24in
Depth of lower ribs inc both plates - 7.8in
String length - 34in

any opinions or info will be most appreciated!
thanks.

Default Nice

What a cool little axe. Get her out there, put some miles on her. I want to see that thing in the shop getting some love after being abused on the road. Does it sound good for such a small bass? Anything is possible with today's pick ups and preamps. Best
