I got this last night as well; but can any of you offer any information about the bass? All I can see is that it's a flatback and from the repair on the front, seems to be an older instrument...

Older bass? Looks like it has a newer back to me. The top may have just been repaired a bunch, can't see why. Just joking! I also find it pretty funny that the only time the bass gets banged is when the guy takes it back at the end. He hits it on the bench. He should have let her keep the bass, it was in better hands??
